Jennifer Peck, PK12 STEM Consultant, visited Mrs. P's third grade class to observe a PLTW (Project Lead The Way) Science lesson in action. Following the lesson she had this to say:
"I had the distinct pleasure to join the 3rd grade for their PLTW lesson exploring weather this Friday. I was so impressed by their grasp of the technical vocabulary and also their enthusiasm for getting outside to be meteorologists. They not only knew how to name and use the tools (and most of them could pronounce anemometer!) but they clearly understood when and why to use them and what data they would be gathering."
It seems not only the sun was shining, but so were our students and staff! Way to go, Mrs. P and class!
