Tomorrow, our 5th graders will be welcoming the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department to Osseo-Fairchild Elementary! The Sheriff’s Department has been busy delivering BADGES presentations to students. BADGES is a youth education program developed by the department to address important topics and current trends, including substance abuse and addiction, mental health and wellness, online safety, healthy relationships, human trafficking, and more. As part of tomorrow’s visit, there will be several emergency vehicles on-site at our school. We wanted to give our families and community members a quick heads-up in case you see an increased presence of law enforcement vehicles around OFE. We appreciate the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department and their commitment to educating, supporting, and keeping our students safe! Our first graders just wrapped up a unit learning about five different body systems. Our elementary students recently spread kindness throughout our community by creating and placing kindness rocks around town. Dove Healthcare returned the kindness by making and bringing their own Kindness Rocks to our elementary school! 🪨💛

What a fun way to connect generations and remind us that kindness is contagious! Thank you, Dove Healthcare, for helping make kindness a two-way street! 🧡

🏈 UNDEFEATED! THAT’S THUNDER FOOTBALL! 🏈

What a season for our 8th-grade football team, including the 7th graders who stepped up and helped make it happen! The Thunder finished the season UNDEFEATED with a perfect 5-0 record! 🧡🖤

🏈 Season Results:

- 34-14 vs. McDonell
- 44-12 vs. Blair-Taylor
- 56-12 vs. Whitehall
- 42-0 vs. Eleva-Strum

Our 7th-grade-only team also picked up a 12-0 win over Black River Falls and played a hard fought game against Whitehall 0-6!

An undefeated season takes hard work, teamwork, and commitment. Congratulations to these athletes and coaches on an outstanding season! 💪
