This Thursday (5/28), all middle school students from Osseo-Fairchild School District will be heading to Stoney Creek for a fun day together! 🎣🛹🎮
A few reminders for students and families:
• There is no cost for the trip
• Lunch will be provided
• Please dress for the weather — it is expected to be around 80° and sunny ☀️
• Students are encouraged to bring sunscreen and a water bottle
Optional items students may bring:
🎣 Fishing poles
🛹 Skateboards or roller blades
💵 Spending money for the arcade or gift shop
Please remember that students are responsible for keeping track of any personal items they bring from home.

🌎🪆 Cultural Connections in Action! 🪆🌎
Today, Mrs. Velasquez’s high school Spanish students visited Ms. Jensen’s 6th grade ELA classes to share the tradition of muñecas quitapenas (worry dolls).
Students taught a few Spanish words, explained the cultural importance of the tradition, and guided the sixth graders in creating their own worry dolls.
It was wonderful to see our high school students step into leadership roles while helping younger students make meaningful cultural connections! 🧡🖤

When our original field trip plans didn’t work out, Stony Creek stepped in and welcomed our students for an awesome day of fun. Students enjoyed laser tag, mini golf, and the foam pit—and made lots of great memories along the way!
