Our 11th graders had a busy and informative day as part of Osseo-Fairchild’s Academic & Career Planning (ACP) program, exploring college and technical education opportunities and thinking about what comes next after high school!
📚 Wisconsin Education Fair (WEF): Students connected with college admissions representatives from colleges throughout the Midwest, giving them the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about programs, campuses, and opportunities available to them.
🏫 UW-La Crosse: Students toured campus and checked out the dorms, Eagle Recreation Center, academic buildings, Whitney Dining Center, and more.
🔧 Western Technical College: After lunch in the Western Cafeteria, students toured a variety of programs, including Nursing and the Simulation Lab, Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, HVAC, Interior Design, and more.

As part of the Osseo-Fairchild Academic and Career Planning program our 9th graders toured Chippewa Valley Technical College campus and UWEC campus. At CVTC they listened to a presentation about what CVTC offers and then toured the health care programs and business programs offered at CVTC. In the afternoon, they drove through the UWEC campus with Mr. Tim Serum acting as their tour guide.

Our 10th graders spent yesterday exploring University of Wisconsin–Stout Polytechnic! Students had the opportunity to chat with current college students, tour campus, and get a glimpse of what college life has to offer.
And of course, the day included a delicious lunch on campus and a quick stop at the park to burn off some energy before heading back! 😊

4th Graders became geologists today as they put their measurement skills to the test in Science Lab!
They explored some unique rocks and fossils while collecting meaningful data. They measured in grams and centimeters and did a great job with remembering to include the units!
